1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Daymark: Intentional Home iPhone app and its widget extension, published by Red Comet Media. Our website has its own privacy notice. Apps and websites you open through Daymark have their own privacy practices.
2. Information stored on your device
Daymark stores your selected apps, custom app names and destinations, routines, appearance preferences, setup progress, focus timer state, and activity generated through Daymark. Activity includes launch handoffs, decisions to step away, and elapsed timer-session times. The current version retains up to the latest 500 choices and 500 completed focus sessions.
The app and its widget share this information through a local iOS App Group container. Daymark does not send this data to a Red Comet Media server. Daymark does not collect system-wide Screen Time, read the contents of other apps, or monitor activity outside its own launcher.
3. Permissions and integrations
Photos: Daymark requests add-only Photos permission when you choose Save to Photos for an exported wallpaper. This allows it to add the wallpaper; it does not request access to read your photo library. You can instead save to Files or use the share sheet.
Shortcuts, Focus, and links: Daymark can hand a shortcut name, app deep link, or website address to iOS at your request. Apple or the destination app may process that request under its own terms. Focus filters and Shortcuts actions let you change the active Daymark routine. Daymark does not request location, contacts, microphone, camera, or Family Controls access in this version.
4. Backups and sharing
You can choose to export your layouts and activity as a JSON backup, or export a wallpaper. The destination you select—such as local Files, iCloud Drive, or another app—determines where that file is stored and who can access it. Exported backups can contain custom app names, destinations, and activity; share them only with people or services you trust.
iOS device backups may also include app data according to your Apple settings. Red Comet Media does not operate or control those backups.
5. Your choices and deletion
Use Focus → Clear local activity in Daymark to remove recorded choices and focus history. You can edit or remove apps and layouts within the app, and manage Photos permission in iOS Settings. Removing the app removes its app data from the device according to iOS behavior; offloading an app is different and may preserve its data. Widget/shared-container lifecycle and restored device backups are managed by iOS.
Delete exported files and device or cloud backups separately from the location where you saved them. There is no Daymark account to delete and no developer-hosted copy of your in-app activity to retrieve.
6. Support communications
If you contact Red Comet Media, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to respond and resolve the request, and retain it only as needed for that purpose or applicable obligations. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive information. Support providers process messages under their own practices. Support correspondence is separate from local app data; the app does not automatically attach or upload your layouts or Journal.
7. Changes and questions
If Daymark’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. A future feature is not covered by a claim about the current version until this policy is updated. For privacy questions, consult the Daymark support contact section.
